Planning a South Asian fusion wedding for 600 guests in Boston requires careful budgeting, especially when considering the unique elements of this cultural celebration. With a total budget ranging from $148,500 to $297,000, it's crucial to allocate funds wisely across various categories such as venue, food, and décor.

Cost Breakdown

• Venue (30%): For a wedding of this scale, you can expect to allocate between $44,550 and $89,100 for your venue. The Boston Park Plaza is an excellent option, known for its elegant ballrooms and central location, making it convenient for guests.
• Food (38%): Catering is a significant part of the budget, accounting for approximately $56,130 to $112,860. Given the fusion aspect, consider a diverse menu that includes traditional South Asian dishes alongside contemporary cuisine to cater to all guests.
• Décor (13%): Décor costs are estimated at $19,305 to $38,610. Invest in stunning floral arrangements, draping, and lighting that reflect the cultural significance of the event while providing a modern twist.

Logistics and Guest Comfort

Boston winters can be quite harsh, with snowy conditions often impacting logistics. When planning your wedding, consider the following:

• Accessibility: Ensure that your chosen venue has adequate heating and snow removal services to keep pathways clear for guests.
• Transportation: Plan for additional transportation options, such as shuttles or rideshare services, to help guests navigate from their accommodations to the venue safely.
• Comfort: Consider providing amenities like warm beverages or cozy blankets to enhance guest comfort during the colder months.

The hotel offers ample space for multiple events, such as a welcome dinner, the main wedding ceremony, and a reception.
