• Food (40%): Catering is a significant part of your budget, with costs ranging from $22,275 to $44,550. This includes traditional Sikh dishes, which can be catered by local Indian restaurants or specialized catering services that understand the cultural significance of the meal.
• Decor (12%): Allocate about $6,681 to $13,365 for decor. This includes floral arrangements, stage design, and lighting that reflect the vibrant traditions of Sikh weddings. Hiring a professional decorator who specializes in South Asian events can help create a stunning atmosphere.

Comparative Cost Expectations

When comparing costs, Oklahoma City generally offers more affordable options than other major North American cities. For instance, cities like New York or Los Angeles may see wedding budgets soar by 20-30% due to higher venue and catering costs. In Oklahoma City, you can expect to find quality vendors who offer competitive pricing without compromising on service or quality.

Seasonal Considerations

Oklahoma City experiences varied seasonal weather, so consider scheduling your wedding in spring or fall for milder temperatures. This can influence venue selection and outdoor decor options, adding another layer of planning to your event.

With careful budgeting and planning, your Sikh wedding can be a beautiful celebration of love and tradition. Remember to prioritize what matters most to you as a couple, ensuring your special day reflects your unique vision.
